Quick Statistic

Ribbit

Recommended Posts

Based on the teams promoted to the Isthmian Premier last season, we should expect an attendance increase of 22.86% or 74.295 fans. That would give us approximately 399 as an average gate for next season. However, given that we managed 375 last year, I think we should expect more than that (460.725, if we use the same rules).

Hastings United (06/07)401 to (07/08)537 = 33.91%

AFC Hornchurch - 427 to 456 = 6.79%

Maidstone United - 432 to 444 = 2.77%

Harlow Town - 225 to 333 = 48.00%

Average - 371.25 to 442.50 = 22.86

You lot might find that a bit boring, but I thought it was quite interesting.

Good Stats Ribbit - but not one of those clubs you mentioned had the Shock & Awe impact of Charlie's posters in their PR drive for spectator recruitment.

I think its impossible to forecast a trend in relation simply to what league we're in......I think its more related to success 'within' that league. i.e if we're doing well and flying high, giving the paying punters a taste of hope and glory then they'll flock. If we're struggling (which we won't be) then it'll just be the die hards. NEver done the math, but i thought there was a higher consistent turnout when we we're challenging in the Ryman Prem vs. bottom 1/3 of the conference (figures skewed by away gate though).

Lets just wait and see, but am quietly confident.
