Now that Team Bath FC appear to be on the threshold of promotion to the higher echelons of non-league football (i.e. Blue Square South), I think it is about time they stood on their own two-feet financially and not rely on their university and therefore us as tax-payers and supporters of other football clubs for their funding.

 

If they do not attract sufficiently high enough attendances to fund their rise through the various levels of the non-league pyramid, then they should at least stay where they are.

 

Hardly fair to other football club supporters is it? Funding another football club, albeit indirectly, through the tax we pay into the governments coffers!

maybe they could give a vote to everyone who pays tax on how the club is run...

I'd rather my tax go to something useful that we can see rather than some of the sh*t that it's used for !!

is the 2p increase in fuel duty in October there to sustain Team Bath's league campaig next season?

At least a gallon of petrol costs less than a gallon of beer !
