Its a few daysold now, but have just caught up with the interview with SCS in last tuesdays Thanet times-vitually a full page-and imo, a good interview from interviwer and interviweee.

SCS is obviously disappointed, and it does set you thinking.

 

Difficult decision for MFC to make with so many other young keepers;but must admit that i also forgot that Scott himself is only 21.

Seems Scott really did want to stay for next season

 

By his own admission-not the best of seasons-but as he points out-defence must take alot of the blame.

As he also points out-he is not perfect-and tatswhy he is playing at Ryman level and not in the fotbal league-he is still learning.

 

Tough decision for the Board-but on balance -i feel that it is the wrong decision.

I hope a new manager comes in and insists the decision is reversed and Scott stays-how we accommodate all the goalies-i do not know,but i do fel its tough on Scott-and he is a really good keeper.

 

I reckon a different manager could sort out Scotts challenges with shouting and commanding the area a bit more than Trott could.

 

The main irony is that with Wilkinson possibly leaving Ramsgate-its fairly obvious where Scott will probably go to.

 

As i say-hopefully, a new manager wil insist Scott is taken off the transfer list
