In answer to Staines Rebel, there is no "bitterness" involved at all.

It is always interesting on these forums how if a controversial point is put across, it does not take too long for a bit of thinly disguised venom to start pouring out from some quarters.

With regard to the problem some have with postings being "anonymous", it is up to individuals, as to whether or not to respond.

Bear in mind, whilst you or others might not want people such as me to add their support for next season, other "anonymous" people might be interested in your answers, in deciding whether to come down and offer their own support.

Thanks Gary, for outlining much of the current situation, reports in the local press do not offer the same depth of information, perhaps that is something that can be looked at by your press office.

I'm very glad to hear that the club is on such a sound financial footing. As much of the money both the club and trust has have been paid in by the current long suffering hardcore support and by the sound of things they are likely to be asked for more. All very well and good, as I'm sure most will continue to give willingly for the cause.

I'm just suggesting that the custodians go easy with the funds and plans for the future.

Best of luck for season 2008/9!.

Anon - where did I use the word "bitterness" that you quote?

If you wish to hide behind an anon then your posts will have less validity, and before you state that I am hiding behind an alias those who use this forum and attened games know exactly who I am.

The problem with you using an anon is that anyone can use an anon and come out with total rubbish and then state it was another anon - have the balls to put a name to a post so there is some continuity and more validity to what you say - or even register and become legitimate.

Totally agree with those comments. It is a good opportunity to give the likes of Stan Mugisha a decent level of football in which to develop without throwing them in the deep end of first team games.

I don't know a great deal about the Allied Counties or the rules involved. Would there also be an opprotunity for first team squad members to be involved i.e. to recover fitness when coming back from injury? Either way it is an excellent step and something we should be doing regardless of our off the field position.

Always used to be a purely youth level lge, even though decent standard.

Okey dokey, still makes it a very worthwhile venture and if successful it is a target for all youth players in the area to try and get picked up for our allied counties side so that we can continue it year on year.
