Actually,I'm not sure if there is to be one.Could still be but but what I do know is & that I got a phone call this morning from a very high source at the club(board member)that things have taken a turn for the "better".

Was not told the ins & outs of it all but am assured

(guaranteed in fact)that good news will be given out to us via a statement on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

Hopefully it IS good news (in our opinions) & we can now get on with sorting out a manager & getting things going all round again with other items of interest to us all.

I have only been told that the board has come to some sort of agreement amongst themselves (both parties).

Permission was given to me to give a mention on here in the way that I have done. Sorry I can't be more specific.

Seaside Shuffle (sounds like something SSS would get up to whilst reading a copy of Razzle) by Terry Dactyl and the Dinosaurs a number two hit in 1972 and who was really Jona Lewie of Always in the Kitchen at Parties and Stop the Calvalry fame and now I've totally lost the thread and don't actually know why I'm giving all this useless information but hey that's life on the Margate forum.

"They" is KP to be exact Frankie & who knows he might.
Believe him or believe him not.If he fails on this statement after guaranteeing it I will want to know why & in the strongest words I can muster up.

This is what really pi$$es me off about the present conflict. People talking in French whispers making out they know more than they do. Why does someone need permission to say what they have been told. It is for this very reason that I (yes little old nobody me) turned down the chance to join a sub -committee (or call it what you may) to advise the board.

 

The sooner we are all open about what is going on the better.

 

Oh and by the way I do not support or am anti either faction. I just support MFC and what ever is good for it.

I take it you are taking a dig at me there & not the board or KP.

Its not about who knows what,who got there first etc etc its about giving information to others if some comes along by whom & by whoever.I am not making out either that I know more than I do.I don't,if you read my post above.

Lack of info has been a major let down this year & I would have thought this news like any other would be welcome. Sorry I passed it on.Maybe I should have said nothing & just let it be seen on Tuesday.Just thought we could all do with a "lift" thats all! I'll remember that in the future,okay!

As for "permission" it was I who asked HIM if it was alright to say something. Firstly it was given to me in confidence & secondly if I was to put it out without him knowing & it annoyed him or caused problems he may not confide in ANY of us ever again & thats not we are after..correct?

One final point.I didn't ask for him to phone me he just did.

Maybe he saw my concern that NONE of us are getting anything on the official.

Crikey I keep on about it enough to him.

In future Joseba any news I get I'll pass it onto you first for you to do what you will with it or to post. "Fair enough!"

Tony I am not having a dig at anyone in paticular. Can you not see where I am coming from. All I am saying is I am fed up with people who know but do not tell. Now did you do that then.

 

I just stand for open, frank, meaningfull, constructive discussions.

 

This whole episode is tearing the heart out MFC and, the sooner it is sorted put to bed and buried the better for MFC and all the genuine supporters.

I apologise in that case.Took it the wrong way.Am in total agreement that this mess needs coming to an end so we can start concentrating on the football side of things again..& quickly..otherwise we might be left behind & playing catch up on other clubs.Lets face it those other clubs have friendlies lined up already & we have, as Tony M would say "Jack [****!!****]"..

Have to agree. But i still think the fans and smaller shareholders need a formal voice on the board. Especially as this looks like a critical time for the club.

I dont know why you lot are having a go at Cookie,Christ,he is only letting people know WHAT he has been told and we should be grateful of any news concering whats going down at the moment,lets face it,we dont get much info? from MFC,do we??
