There was also the time at Stafford Rangers when one of our lot was 'forgotten' by the departing coach cause he was still in the clubhouse enjoying post match celebrations. But the rest of us were really appreciative of the extra seat and his liquid picnic on the way home.



Remember that well. That was Warren I believe, that got left behind. Got a lift back with the players I think.

I suppose looking back it was; but at the time it weren't. I had no money at all, and a totally ripped up CIFC shirt. Managed (somehow) to get from their ground to Birmingham New street Station by bus, Train back to London, across London by tube, and home to Benfleet way before any of the coaches. But then i suppose i did have a 45 minute head start. Was the 2nd half any good ?!!??!?!?!?!?
