Thanks to BROADSTAIRS DAVE for donating his winning prize for winning the prediction league to this nights fund raising events.

Its a signed football from the players of the season just gone & hopefully it will be put up for auction or raffled to bring some added funds on the night.

Thank You Dave.

I'd just like to thank everyone who came along in support of this game yesterday, it made all the difference to the lads.

The supporters went down 5-4 after the managers staged an epic comeback in the 2nd half, a very enjoyable game played in good spirit.

Thanks go out to Phil Fennel for his organisation (on and off the pitch) and for making sure everything ran smoothly on the day.

Thanks to Mark Weatherley for his inspirational team talk which saw us go in at 3-2 up, if he'd been there 2nd half who knows grin

Thanks also to Matt Bowles and Paul Axon for stepping in to bolster our team at short notice.

And lastly thanks to Alan and Graham for overseeing the event, I hope plenty of money was raised.

We had 59 people donating their money at the entrance and make good donations towards the raffle afterwards.

The ball( Donated by "Broadstairs Dave") signed by last seasons squad was won by "Rachel Vicke Craddock".

The away shirt( donated by Generation sports) signed by the 2006-07 squad, was won by "Broadstairs Dave".

The Goal Keepers Jersey, (donated by "Generation sports")signed by "Charlie Mitten", was won by "Luigi Scott". Luigi is giving it away to a young keeper at Margate youth who's hero is "Charlie".

Thanks to everyone who turned up to make it a successful evening. The players of both teams who certainly entertained,(my sympathy goes out to those tired muscles and joints this morning). To Malcolm Rowletts, for his generosity, Alan Corbishley(acdc/ Roberto's dad) for coming all the way from Maidstone to lend his support. It was nice to see Terry Yorath and Brother Dia watching. To the Hard working Barmaid who kept every ones glasses full at the end.

We hope to hold another game in the future following the success of this one. We will have a cup to play for. It was a great night.

My only downer on such a good evening was the attitude of the 2 Misa committee members and there female companions when asked for a donation at the gate and, who's comments left those in hear shot open mouthed.

Anyway, Thanks to the 99% of you who attended and gave your support. Thank You.
