A very good point AFF, but, if i may, can i just say something?

I feel that yes, if players are not going out to play to their full potential, then yes, they shouldn't be played. They should be side-lined and not get paid until they prove that they are capable of playing well, and play honestly.

I feel that we should give them warning as in a grevence procedure, a verbal warning, written warning and then asked to leave.

I know that this wouldn't happen, and i'm not saying this is what should happen but i think something along those lines should happen.

Give everyone a chance, and if they are good, then blooming well play them more. This will then insite the other players who are not playing well to get up and make sure they play well to keep thier place in the team.

For instance, Craig, bless his heart, i personally think he is great! He has got the right attitude. he gets on that pitch and he goes striaght for goal. Granted he hasn't scored yet, but he is determined to get one. he keeps going, and i havn't seen a game that he has given up - unlike some.

Unfortunately, most of the time he comes on as a sub, and really doesn't have enough time to get into the game and do his stuff. Put him on first, let him shine through and then hopefully he will make a big enough impression to be put on first all the time. he's a little star!

Fuss was supporters using foul and abusive language to The Chairman in front of the main stand and by the Directors bar, repeating this in the main bar at half time.

Result, lady with 2 children get's up and leaves saying they will not be coming back. The club cannot afford this !! If we drive people away things can only get worse.

Who knows what it was all about ?

Hi Caretaker.

Due to a prior engagement, I arrived at the York Road entrance at 8.02. Gates and turnstile locked. I went to the side gate by the tea-bar. Locked. No steward in sight. [i'm sure that all would have been well had some disasterous incident occurred in the ground, of course.]

I phoned that Chairman of The Supporters Club chap who kindly phoned that chap who runs the club shop who kindly unlocked the side gate and allowed me in, having first shown my season-ticket, of course.

I missed most of the first half as I needed sustenance and there was a tiny problem of some kind in the tea-bar which adversely affected normal service.

None of this is intended as a complaint, you'll appreciate. I bruise easily but I don't get upset over stuff like that.

I don't go into the clubhouse at half-time as I can wait for a drink until the final whistle.

Problem? What problem.
