It was quoted in the local rag the other day that the Rams were going to have both ends of Southwood covered over the summer break , will they beat MFC to this as well or will the Coffin road end be completed and ready for the new season before Ramsgates two ends are . I under stand they raised there money by having a golf tournment , good idea maybe the board at HDP could have a wrestling event or something in that line , ha ha . Will be great to have the covered ends as we are going to be having lots of derby games next season . Up the Gate .

Have the council consented to this then?. Surely you cant just erect these things without TDC approval can you? The locals might want to object..

Im only a fan cookie, but i hope that neighbours and other parties would of been inform ages ago, as for plannin as well, this has been going on at the club for some time, it been delayed as i understand it cos of size of project etc so that tells me it must have pasted the neccersary whatevers,i wont comment on the problems you have cookie, but hope that a conclusion is inminant

Seems that they may beat us to this as well , we have alot to learn , keeping it simple is the answer but as long as the Coffin rd end is up before next season starts im sure thst it will bring a few more back to HDP . Up the Gate .

I don't doubt you Rob.Was just being curious thats all.
I must say though that we have had planning permission for this & that & its also been shown on the council website but have we got anywhere near completion?(or even a start).
Maybe you'll get lucky or offer the council more.

As for James.Funnily enough I saw him walking down College road today.I'm sure someone told me lately he had been taken on to the planning committee.

Ramsgates stands are almost made now and the ground has been marked out for drilling the concrete supports so I would have thought the stands would be finalised before the start of next season probably by mid June..

Sounds good & positive.Maybe this will be the spur thats needed to get those over here to do similar.I doubt it but we can hope. We've waited long enough after all. Ramsgate might just have done us a favour here.
