I think most grounds can squeeze that amount of supporters in I know we had 1293 a couple of years ago.

Still agree with all of you about the lights thing. I would say lights reqd for promotion and then given a year to get a stand, if its not in at the end of the season you go down ...simple.

However I do like the look of all the great grounds now in the prem. The problem comes when the league require more seats etc. It would be nice if it could be left to the clubs to improve the ground if they so wished to.

I think Hartley have been too long in div 1 and i've gotten used to the poor state of the grounds we sometimes vist.

As im on my soap box, I think it's unfair that the league gives evening games to clubs with lights in div 1.

Why should we pay for there use when they are not reqd? It's just another CCLism I think we should puill the plug and save a few hundred quid. What do other div 1 clubs with lights think???

HH, what beer would you like to see at the Green and I'll make the reccomendation. Is Becks Vier not for you then?

In regards to the Div 1 lights, clubs that have them get penalised at the beginning of the season by having to play teams without them midweek with 6:30 kick offs which is a push for many players. It affects preperation and you pick up silly injuries.

When midweek games are under lights, some players still struggle to get there for 7pm!

Me and Legend watched Knaphill v Staines Lammas last week and at leats one player from each side turned up after the game had started. Not an issue if they had lights.

HH, I dont have a problem playing under lights either, it is just that we have to play teams without them at the beginning of the season at 6:30 kick off but as the likes of Hartley, Farnham, Westfield, Frimley etc have lights they have to be used and already there is not a level playing field.

How come when Southall were in the same situation as Neasden a couple of years ago, the CCL acted very swiftly in dealing with them, but now everyone is having to wait not knowing what division they could be in?
