lammas have never applied for lights so cant have been turned down , planning is going in shortly and we fully expect our ground to be ready for promotion by the end of next season (as long as we are in the promotion places),
there are big plans at lammas but must be kept under wraps for now ,

Think most of the teams will never be looking at promotion from the state of their grounds. Would be a bit difficult judging who will be good enough in five years to get their ground up to standard. Why not just say you will groundshare if it comes to it.

If the grounds had to come up to standard in 5 years we would have a division with 8 teams in it

Nuts...you know more about your club goodluck in getting the planning permission

So which are the worst in the league?

Pitch or ground facilities My to 3 are...

1 Chobham - Pitch is v bad could be a nice housing estate

2 Crescent - teams playing next to you and their pitch looked better

3 Farnham - living in their past glory & allowing the farmer use of their land!

You have to have a laugh!

I think you are wrong double H, the number of clubs in the CoCo league that have improved their ground in the last five years is remarkable.Whilst I agree that the ground gradings can appear high, the hundred seats for clubs whose attendance is one man and his dog seems excessive. On a quick count I would estimate that about half of the clubs in the league have improved their ground to a good standard.Including Chipstead and Walton Casuals who are no longer with us.

The point I was trying to make double H is that it wasn't until the clubs(prem) were forced into doing the work,they did the bare minimum.The work that has been done at Hartley Wintney in the last few years is great and shows that if you want it enough anything can be achieved and that is the same for all the div one sides.

1.14 Entrances

* B-E
There should be at least X spectator entrances to control the ingress of spectators.

* These must be controlled by fully operational turnstiles of the revolving type and must be suitably housed and lit. These entrances should be placed in appropriate positions around the boundary of the ground and take into account the requirements of segregation. Values of X:
o A: 8
o B: 6
o C: 4
o D: 3
o E: 2
* A
It must be possible to gain access to the spectator viewing areas from the turnstiles via a bound surface minimum width of 1 metre.
* F-G
There should be at least 1 fully operational turnstile (which must be of the revolving type) or a pay box where a charge for entry to the ground can be taken.

1.4 Boundary of Ground

The ground must be enclosed by a permanent boundary, which will prevent spectators from viewing the game

from outside the ground. As a general rule, the minimum height, when measured from outside the ground, should

be 1.83 metres.

Some clubs don't have this!!

Any fool can have a plastic container full of 5p's and 20p's!!
