Wembley tickets

Recommended Posts

According to NLP, tickets for the Trophy final WILL be on sale at the ground, on the day.

This is good news, particularly for Torquay fans who might be booking late, lest they don't make the play off final.

Also handy for anyone turning up on the day to see a good final.

Hopefully should add a few thousand on the gate - and more pennies in the bank.

Web Ed, after confirming this, would it be worth adding to the Website and making this sticky?

The more people, the merrier.

Hope you'll be supporting Lowestoft Town in the Vase, H, what with their seafaring connections!

Please don't tell me they are going to give over 75% of the stadium over to Aldershite fans, just in case they all turn up?

The Torquay sales might suddenly jump if Exeter turn round the play off semi final tomorrow - although I guess many would need to buy these on the day, unless Torquay make special arrangements to sell tickets in the interim.

I dont think we're going to beat last years attendance though - if Torquay dont make the play off final the attendance might make the 50K mark, otherwise somewhere between 40K & 45K (probably nearer 40K) seems more likely.

It would be worth their while as they would get a larger slice of the money if they sell the tickets themselves rather than their supporters buying at Wembley.

Can't see us getting anywhere near 53,000 unless there is a major surge over the next few days. If Torquay get up to 18,000 from the previous estimate of 14,000, that would put the total at about 40,000.

40,000 at the game would generate about

Hello American FLEET FAN No1. We have I think just short of 30,000 signed up now, actually. Why do you think we'd look foolish? We all want the same thing - our team to win. Just to say hi, by the way - I'm Sal, I've been posting on the MyFc forum since day 1 and I have been to quite a few games, home and away. I live in Lancaster so it's not that easy to get to home matches - but I have bought a season ticket for next season, nevertheless.

Hi Sal, you are now added to my committed members.

I await Lord Wah Wah posting to tell you that after 45 years supporting the Fleet, I am no longer regarded as a Fleet fan as I have resided in the States for the last eight(in August) years!

My point was if all the so called committed new Fleet fans went to Wembley, there would be over 60,000(approx) Fleet fans(allowing for the Glory Hunters from the Borough of Gravesham that only turn out for big occasions) on the day, and they alone would break last years record, without the Torquay fans!
