trouble with none down one up is that div 1 will run out of clubs capable of coming up and once the prem champ is crowned its season over.

I think for starters that grading of grounds should have some sort of timescale.

It's already shown by the league that they don't want clubs coming up by inspecting the pitch on 1st Apr!!! any ground improvements by the prem teams are given an extra month. Why O Why is there a difference???

If div 1 teams were given to the end of the season they would stand more chance.

No one wants to put a stand in in April if they could end up being 4th!!!

I agree with the Timescale give them a season or two to get the work done.

I tend to agree HH. I think the toughest part is the stand. I feel that for that if the club requiring promotion has everything in place except the stand then they will be passed for promotion providing that on gaining promotion they have a season to get it in otherwise they will be relegated.

Initially I enjoyed it, thought that the facilities around the pitch were ok and the surface was quite good. The clubhouse is not the worse in the league, It's only a bit older than Frimleys or Westfields.

The problems seemed to start with their supporters and players in the second half.

They really do give you some grief down there.

Was this what you were getting at?

I think the problem with the FA being so strict about promotion and ground grading stems from Barnet a few years back,when Fat Stan got them into the league ,all sorts of promises made none of which kept and they vowed not to be had over again.

The problem I found was that when I came online, you had asked the question about 10 posts before I could answer, and it wasn't really relevant to the post.

As I have only been posting for a while, I was holding back a little to see what you were getting at as it was a tricky answer for me as I wasn't sure if you were talking about the facilities or the pitch side hastle.
