A very fast game,riccay had 3or4 chances though out the game to score but got a penalty, but Hullbridge managed to score two goals, 2-1 final score, have to say it Rich you made some decent saves and you did well to win , your top Bloke Rich well done to you and your team. Blue fan ps just wanted to say thank you to all the supporters who came tonight, there seemed to be a lot of people , maybe a couple of hundred tonight? if not more.

Not to worry Rich i am banned on a regular basis. Well done tonight, Some awesome saves and really good shots out also. Not sure i would consider you as Big Fat Rich, I think Big Rich Says it all,

 

Again Well done you should be very proud of yours and the teams performance.

 

Also on this note well done to the Blue & whites for a stunning reply in the later section of the 2nd half.

It was an entertaining game and played at a very high tempo. I thought Hullbridge looked the stronger in the first half but our U18's took the game to them in the second half and but for a excellent one handed save from that goalie we would have been looking at extra time. Anyway congrats to both teams on making the final and i reckon on crowd last night being 250 ish, which was a very good turn out.

 

Thought the blond haired lad playing down the left looked a good prospect for us.

 

Final word on that Hullbridge keeper.....Shuuuuttttt upppppp !

Good game what i saw of it.

That Lad Keith was called Harrison ( i think that's the spelling) I saw him a few weeks ago and thought the same thing.

I would agree. Our left winger looked very good. And one of our central defenders was looing quite solid as well. If we push on with both of them and develop them and the team, I can see us having a pool of talent for the future.

 

Well done to Hullbridge Sports but also well done to our lads for not lying down and taking the game to them and making it an entertaining evening's football

the good thing also about both of the teams that played last night, is that only 5 or 6 of them are to old to play next season.

 

so both clubs have set a standard now for themselves to reach again next season
