For those who are interested, the 2 playoff games in our league were postponed to tomorrow night due to waterlogged pitches.

Oxford City beat Didcot 5-4 on penalties after the game finished 2-2. Fleet against Uxbridge was postponed again. One of the semi-finals in the Premier was abandoned after 31 minutes with the score 2-3.

Tonight's game finished Fleet Town 1-2 Uxbridge. Last minute penalty for Uxbridge in front of just 205.

It looks like Oxford City have beaten Uxbridge 1-0, according to the Oxford forum (although there is also a post on there to say it was 2-0 to Uxbridge!).

Well, it shows that the sides with the strongest squads have been promoted automatically. We know Farnborough are strong, and Oxford can even afford the likes of Mark Janes and Lee Rendell to be bit part players in their side. Stength in depth is where we lacked big-time, hence our downfall.

Just driven up Laleham road and seen the hoards of happy AFC fans pooring out of Staines ground - took them long enough to get out of that leauge!!!!

They now play Andy Ballard's Eastbourne Borough for a place in the Conference.
