How come you lot have cocked it all up? From what I've seen/neard Div 1 is appalling and yet you've decided you'd like to stay in it.

Nah, we decided to give it another year in Ryman Division One and move South. Fancied playing AFC Wimbledon next year.

Chris, you bring up a good point about facing AFC Wimbledon. The system is a little strange in that apparently the Combined Counties League feeds into Ryman 1 rather than Ryman 2 I believe - from what I've heard the standard of football is similar in Ryman 2 and the CCL - and seeing as AFC Wallingford have pulled out of promotion contention (even though they will probably win the league) it's between Withdean 2000 and AFCW as to who will go up.... not sure Withdean have a suitable ground so does that mean AFC Wimbledon will be in the Ryman Division One almost certainly ???

Withdean ground share at Worthing so no problems for them if they get the required points from their remaining games.

Ryman 2 [2 clubs], CCL, Spartan and Essex Senior [2 only from 3 leagues!] all feed in to Ryman 1 Divisions. Cheshunt & Leyton are alreday promoted from Ryman 2, Dunstable who lead the Spartan do not have a grading yet but Beaconsfield who are 2nd look like they have, Ilford & Enfield Town in the Essex do not have gradings and in the CCL Withdean or Wimbledon could go up on ground gradings. So in all probabiilty, outside of the Ryman League, promoted sides to Div 1 will not have won their Leagues and will come from the Spartabn and CCL! [Not sure I haven't confused myself there!]
