Who told them that? I'm sure it wasn't the trust.

Don't want to dredge up old ghosts but when I found this I felt it necessary to post it here.

As a fan of Ebbsfleet United and former Trust Board Member all I can say is please bear with them, they are trying their best.

I've read all this thread and will try to answer everything that I can.

Question "Do they give part of profit to the club? I read the trust is running the club shop. So does this mean my money isn't benefiting the club if I buy a shirt?"

Answer They do give part of the profit to the club. They give a monthly sum to the club and help out with things like fundraising ideas, a player's pledge* etc... Last season we gave some money every month to help out with a players wages. It helped the Trust as they get good recognition and extra members. They make no profit on shirts, all profits on shirts go to the club.

Sorry Harry - but people were having a pop here because I suggested that some MyFC members were upset because they were given the clear impression that the money would go directly to the club. I would suggest to you that your quote gives the clear impression that profit from shirt sales would go direct to the club. You can quibble about the words used but in my opinion (and in the opinion of the many members of MyFC who complained) your quote gives a quite clear impression that this was the case.

As for the MyFC money - if I am not mistaken you were involved in a debate on the MyFC forum on whether the myFC/EUFC accounts should be merged or kept seperate. The argument for keeping them seperate was to get a clear picture about the actual financial status of the club on an ongoing basis.

I'm not saying I was or wasn't involved in this discussion but can you link it for me?

Where's the problem?

Good - couldn't get confirmation of that on this thread before and another item to find out where it is in the club accounts. Thanks for the confirmation - end of discussion. dance

Okay but if you want me to find it then you'll have to find it.

That was one of the worst attempts at internet trolling I have ever seen wanchai.

For once, your cut and paste skills were poor, your argument didn't really have a point and it was countered beautfully by Allstars the witch baiter in his first response.

I'm sorry to say that you're not coming to London.
