I thought you were a Dartford fan at first glance.....and we don't want that sort of talk Wilson !

Cheers,

It's a name I've used for years - it's the River Dart in Devon, I am from Exeter originally - and also I am small and I move fast .... and tell that Mark I'll give him a good slap when I see him ...

Nice part of the world mate....River Dart...and Dartmouth. I stopped off at Dartington Hall two or three years back....had a couple of pints of organic cider ...very pleasant !

I won't tell Mark anything...he gets too aggressive ....bloody yobbo !!

Cheers,

I'd love to get to Stonebridge but I'll be in London Friday night and I don't know how to get there on public transport from Wembley .. if anyone can advise, I might have a go!!
.

I don't know the exact way, but if you get a tube to Charing Cross (someone more accoustomed to London can help you there) and then from Charing Cross get a south eastern train (i think that's the right one) to Northfleet, then its a short walk from the station to the ground, basically just walk out to a main road and go down the hill.

Thanks a lot for this, it looks quite easy. I'm a bit bothered about getting back later on - so I'll see if I feel brave lol!!

DLR. Walking is faster.

Depending on what station you are near then the Bakerloo Line, the brown one, serves Charing Cross, as does the Northern Line, the black one, while the Jubilee Line, the gray one, does both Westminster which is a short walk on a wonderful summer afternoon to Charing Cross along London's Embankment running alongside the Thames, and Waterloo (see below).

The closest station to Wembley is Wembley Park at the other end of <s>Wembley</s> Olympic Way. This is served by both the Metropolitan Line, the purple one, and the Jubilee Line, that gray one again, don't take this one though as the Met line only has two stops. Get on here and either get off two stops down the line at Baker Street, Sherlock, where you can get on to the Bakerloo Line to Charing Cross or the Jubilee line which also serves Waterloo East where you can also get a train to Northfleet. The Jubilee Line also goes to London Bridge where you can also get a train to Northfleet.

Or you could stay on the Metropolitan Line and change at Moregate onto the Northern Line and then either get off at Bank and change onto the DLR or carry on to London Bridge. I wouldn't do the first option though, as I say the DLR is slow and there is some work going on at Bank station so I believe changing at this is not so smooth at the moment.

Decisions, decisions... why not put it to the vote?

Confused? You will be, the London Underground can be very confusing to first time users, it's all just a load of pretty colourful lines, people have probably been lost down there for years. Hay, if you see Chris P down there then it'll all be worth it.

A red shirt I would guess, so he will stick out evil

Nah he will be wearing a target on his back so you can all have a proper shot at him. If anyone is brave enough. duel
