Statements liek this without knoing the full facts between the club and trust are only flaming this pointless argument.

Sue the Fleet Trust? Words fail me (and that doesn't happen often)!

Just as a matter of interest, which ultra well-informed MyFC subscriber has asked for such a vote? Someone who enjoys wasting their fellow subsribers money no doubt. Do let me know the outcome so that I will know whether I will need to instruct M'learned friends. Just hope they remember to follow the pre-action protocol though?

To answer the question, no-one. The idea is just plain stupid.
I'm really disappointed that people on this forum get so wound up by this stuff, more so that you choose to use it against MyFC. My biggest worry is that just below the surface of what you guys say is an obvious resentment that takes very little to come to the surface.
The nice thing about the trolls is it's getting you to show your true colours.
Most of you are okay, some of you obviously hate MyFC, and too many of you are very easily led.

Nobody. It was in reply to the gperson who said legally the Trust isn't allowed to use the Clubs badge on merchandise. I took that to meaning that if they aren't happy and the Trust continue to do it then MyFC can sue the Trust.

Here we go, same old story.

As I said above I was replying directly to the post above. Not only that person but also the people who were people on the MyFC website were saying something similar.

Your argument to this is "these people aren't anything to do with MyFC" in which case why do you need to say anything? If you say anything at all the join me in taking the piss...

Now I getting really tired of saying this... but please some stuff about MyFC I like, some stuff I don't but just because I criticise MyFC for one thing doesn't mean I'm attacking them for everything.

It's like poetry.

sorry i think my earlier post was not read properly...i never said anything about sueing!!!! I said that the club owns the copyright to the crest....i never said anything about sueing anyone....so i wasn't flamming any fire riverview supporter....all you've done is taken my words and changed what ive said to sue.....so in effect your fanning the flame mate....and this is exactly what is wrong with this fourm....its full of chinese whispers and rumours which get mis-interupted and probably further from the truth.

There is nothing wrong with being proud of what the fleet has done for the club, this is not being called into question at all. There is always going to be opposition to something new, but what we have to accept is that it is MYFC who own the club now and they might want to run things different and make changes...it is hard to accept some of the changes...in the short term they might seem like they are doing it for the worse, but long term it might be for the better.

I read that the trust are a non-profit organisation which includes the merchandise ect ect.. obvioulsy the trust memebers over the years have given up their spare time to help the supporters, but any football club that wants to make a serious chance of competing for Football Leauge status needs to be run as a busniess and a busniess needs to make profits. I well and truly beleive MYFC are not in it for themselves to make a few quid, they are doing it to build a club worthy of gaining promotion, just like you would do with any football manager game (im sorry this is not ment to be rude, but this is basically what MYFC is about). One of the first things i feel MYFC have done correctly is to do a deal with Nike. This will bring additional funds to the club using a recognised name and im sure the 30,000 fans would prefer to purchase something Nike then Jako. Now I don't know the ins and outs of the deal like everyone else, but do you really think the trust would of been able to of coped with the demand for merchandise on the scale of 30,000 fans?

Whatever MYFC's next step is, sure people are going to dissaprove , it's human nature, but maybe there needs to be a meeting between the two sides MYFC and the trust to ask questions and put behind any bad feelings or any rumours that may not be true, and work together to create a peaceful and happy fanbase?

I do appologise for my essay but there were a few things i wanted to get off my chest.

Up the Fleet!

Totally agree. I think with EUFC and MyFC as one we can make a real success both on and off the pitch. Next saturday will be like Christmas. If we don't enjoy the build up then the day will be over before we know it.

Up the Fleet and all that sail with her.

Agree 100% with this - I am confident that together we can take the club to new heights. I really am. The MyFC forum feels different this week and I should know, I post enough on there!

And rsheard - Rob hi!! Hope to see you on Saturday.

I'd love to get to Stonebridge but I'll be in London Friday night and I don't know how to get there on public transport from Wembley .. if anyone can advise, I might have a go!!

Where are you sitting at Wembley Rob? I'm with the Gadgeteers, I think it's block 124 or 125.

Cheers,

It's a name I've used for years - it's the River Dart in Devon, I am from Exeter originally - and also I am small and I move fast .... and tell that Mark I'll give him a good slap when I see him ...
