Perhaps MYFC could see he was a cretinous buffoon who doesn't want what is best for Ebbsfleet, but for himself.

Theres no need to be personal, Gary.

Well, what a load of hot air.

Firstly I would like to thank everyone for there interest in the Fleet Trust.

Second :Gary as a member of the Fleet Trust you should/could have had a copy of the accounts published last year and are perfectly entitled to request an update into how much money we have, why you think a post on this forum will get an answer is beyond me.This is not the Fleet Trust website we have one and you could have quite easily have sent an e mail which one of us would have responded to. You may not have wished to cause trouble but my good you have and have caused a lot of people to get cross/the wrong end of the stick completely/or just use this as a way of causing trouble.

Believe it or not but many would really like the Fleet Trust to close down, although I am not suggesting any of the people on this thread are those people. More than one person has said we should shut up shop and your kind of post just gives them more air to vent the views.

The Fleet Trust will continue in one way or another and will continue to work with the MyFC members as we have done for several months. It may surprise you to learn that we have had a couple of discussion already about how the money could be used but the Wembley thing has been all consuming, but rest assured when we have a project/idea about how the money should be spent it will appear on the Trust web-site.Not this forum.

The Trust had an agreement with the last board about running the shop. We purchased all the merchandise and Jako shirts.I might add that over the past few years we have taken our fair share of loss making on shirts as they were changed, due to sponsors leaving(not the clubs fault) but we still had loads of shirts with GLS on them. Then we had Austrian and again after one year they were gone and again shirts with Austrian. This has happended with alarming regulatory. I may be wrong but I believe we have had seven different shirts over seven years.

The profit from the shirts was handed back to club on a three monthly basis.

Over the past few years we have donated around

We have been over this on the MyFC forum Jeff. Practically every member who posted in the run up to the election indicated that they were going to vote for a couple of local candidates as they wanted local involvement on the MyFC board. added to this it was reasonable to expect that local MyFC members would vote in the main for local candidates. There were 9 local candidates and about 14,000 voted to be divided between them. This left about 30,000 votes to be divided between the other 95 candidates. do the math.

You know me, Jessica, it was clearly not my intention to cause trouble for you or the Trust - if I have, then I apologise profusely. The Trust forum is not widely publicised or used, hence my posting on here. I do not have the exact figures involved, just a rough idea. That is why I didn't quote an amount on here - and in any case the sums involved are a matter for the trust, it's members anD the Club, and not for debate on an open forum.
What my post has demonstrated is that 99% of fans, like me are 100% behind the Trust, all that it stands for, and the way it conducts itself.
Any consternation or confusion is from new MYFC members (only one on here) who are not aware of the Trust rules and methodology. We need to educate them in the ways of the Trust, how it operates and why it is important to maintain it's independence.
As I said, I believe those members such as yourself who sit on both boards are the glue that hold the whole thing together.
It is far better to get things out in the open rather than let some people start a whispering campaign about unaccessible money held by the Club Trust.
I maintain my original question to start the thread was valid. Serious and respected forum and Trust members have posted their views here without issues, which only appear to have emerged to due misundertanding from some MYFC people as to what the Trust stands for.

I believe legally the fleet would have to hand over a payment if requested as you are selling stock with the ebbsfleet united crest, and the club (the owners) owns all the copyright to the logo. Im not 100% sure on that.

I must say all these hostilities from our new owners are not very heart warming.

They've come in and it is possibly fair to say that they have given us more than a financial boost but as soon as they get a whiff of a little extra cash they want to get their hands on it as quickly as possible. They jump to conclusions about the money and accuse people of withholding it and even make references to say that perhaps the money has been stolen, despite having very little proof. They even go as far to say that if they don't get the money then they'll prevent the Trust from using the badge and that they may even threaten legal action.

1 "We are Fleet supporters"

2 "We saved your club"

3 "If you don't hand over the money you made from our club then we'll sue"

They don't sound like all welcoming new owners do they?

If number one was true you wouldn't even think two or three.

This just in......

New vote on MyFC...

Should we, the MyFC owners, sue "The Fleet Trust" for money they made on merchandise that they made using the badge of the Club that we own if they don't agree to pay up?

Yes.

No.

I abstain.
