Arrangements for the play off semi final

 

 

After discussions with the club's safety officer and the police, we have agreed the following arrangements for tomorrow's play off semi-final against AFC Hornchurch:

 

. the main bar will open at 5.30 pm for early arrivals and the back bar will open shortly after 6.00 pm

 

. the main and back bars will both close at 7.30 pm and will not re-open until after the game

 

. Once in the stadium, anyone who leaves the ground will not be allowed to re-enter

 

We are taking these steps to reduce the over-crowding issues that arose at the Torquay game when fans returned to the stadium after half time. These problems are in danger of being made worse because, as a result of allocating part of the John Smith stand to Hornchurch fans, the only way into that stand for our fans is via the already crowded Tempest End.
