Matt
And technically it's 4 games in 8 days, so 3 in a week

Mr Rebel
i think its excellent that Sweets wants so many games assuming early preseason we will have a lot of players about. its the best way to see them play and along the way reduce the squad to a better season squad. if done right we shouldnt have to be getting in new players near enough the whole season long

Staines-upon-Thames Rebel
Yes - but we are talking about Marcus! P.S. Marcus you could always say you were late arriving for the wedding as you got lost - now that would be believable!

BFR
Typical - I'll have to give up an afternoon of Chuck-baiting as I've got my wedding to attend that date!

Well seeing as pre-season friendlies are simply used to get players to match fitness and scout possible new signings it does have a very valid point... or are you just a complete moron lacking in the fundamental basics of football? GarySTFC
EW is a local game and will see us utilise the talented U18 team we have in addition with the first team as will be the case throughout not only pre-season but the league campaign also. As Barry says, we have arranged a variety of matches against varying level of opposition which we can use to best suit our needs. It's a good pre-season line up, with a match still to come. GarySTFC
Sure we realised. And we agreed to the game for the mutual benefit of both sides. I don't quite understand why you have not registered that we will be testing players and formations in the pre-season so we are fully prepared for the forthcoming league campaign in the Southern League. I'll copy and paste again in case you missed it from above.
