i think its excellent that Sweets wants so many games assuming early preseason we will have a lot of players about. its the best way to see them play and along the way reduce the squad to a better season squad. if done right we shouldnt have to be getting in new players near enough the whole season long

Well seeing as pre-season friendlies are simply used to get players to match fitness and scout possible new signings it does have a very valid point... or are you just a complete moron lacking in the fundamental basics of football?

EW is a local game and will see us utilise the talented U18 team we have in addition with the first team as will be the case throughout not only pre-season but the league campaign also. As Barry says, we have arranged a variety of matches against varying level of opposition which we can use to best suit our needs. It's a good pre-season line up, with a match still to come.

Ok, did you not realise the EW did not even win a game lasr season though and im sure they are not going to have a better team next season,unless u know otherwise?

Sure we realised. And we agreed to the game for the mutual benefit of both sides. I don't quite understand why you have not registered that we will be testing players and formations in the pre-season so we are fully prepared for the forthcoming league campaign in the Southern League.

I dont normally go to friendly games but seeing that lots of them are local i will definately go to some. penn,e.w,henley and holyport, anybody else going to go to the matches ?

would be nice to get chelsea or man u for the home game.
