Today's EGM

According to KMFM the meeting started at 2 this afternoon. Does anyone know the outcome of this?

Not going to say too much.I wanted the club to make an announcement first.I did ask them to(not holding my breath).

Handbags I can say was correct & not a pleasant meeting. Was also slightly embarrassing too.I got in by accident but was allowed to remain.

Quite a few shareholders in attendance.

Meeting opened up & was swiftly closed again & re-scheduled for 4 weeks time. Apparently the meeting was called illegally according to the "three"!.

Oh,and one final thing & this will make you laugh (or cry). Yianni was NOT signed on "contract" (in error). Was on "quote"

The EGM was deemed incorrectly called and therefore it closed straight away

Cookie it wasn't rescheduled as such. Another notice was issued requesting another EGM at the time, as such, it should be held in 28 days time providing the paperwork is correct

Typical MFC the last people to know anything are the ones who pay at the turnstiles week in week out and do not have Ryman passes or other such free entry.

 

The wisest thing that Ken Bates did when he became Chairman of South Battesea was to stop complementary tickets.

This also means that we will not now have a manager in place untill 26th May. Bang go any decent players for next season.

Okay.If you put it that way. Still re-scheduled though.
Bloody stupid decision seeing as though most shareholders were there anyway. Rules are rules I know but surely some common sense could have prevailed (nah! not very likely eh?)
Oh & by the way Gary Lever has been accepted onto the board.

Thats odd -i thought that was what the egm was called for to debate/vote in the first place.

It's a real blow that we have to wait another 28 days. Would the three have then tried to kick Piper off the board though, if the meeting had gone ahead with only 14 days notice? Really poor of whoever enforced the delay IMO. It does nothing to help the CLUB, the fans, the appointment of a new manager, the search for new players etc etc. I'm very annoyed that we haven't at least reached a point today where we know more of where we stand. Disgraceful. For the record, I'm glad that Gary Lever has been accepted onto the board.

Different issues here I suspect guys. If the meeting wasn't called in accordance with the company's rules, legally it couldn't go ahead.

 

But a board meeting - of just directors - can vote to appoint a new director, so I guess that's what has happened.

Was'nt the issue in the first place about the appointment of GL.

 

Now he is appointed anyway-so what exactly is the agenda for the egm;and where are the differences now ?

Well,well,well,here we go again,MFC are becoming a laughing stock in football,I really dont think they give a flying [****!!****] about the fans,its more about there egos and how much they are going to prosper out of this at the end of.All what we want at the end of is a board and chairman we are proud of and a team worth spending your HARD EARNED CASH ON.
