Yep.....I should be there !!

Come on men ( and ladies), treat yourself to an afternoon off work & get down to support the lads ! You know it makes sense !

We won 3-2 this afternoon after extra time. Having not seen the PASE lads before, I was quite impressed. In fact both sides played well.

Well worth the entrance fee & a good afternoon out....I even ran to The Plough for my half time pint !!

I look forward to watching the final, which I think will also be at Stonebridge Road.

Cheers,

I agree Hirsty, it was a very entertaing match. The lads deserved more support, but there you go, par for the course.

I'm given to understand that the final will be at Stonebridge next Wednesday at 7.45.

How about the refereeing, he was great, big no nonsense guy. We don't appear to have refs like him in the BSL.

Disapointed that there wasn't a team sheet that we could refer to. I only knew the goalkeeper. Great afternoon. Well done the lads. drinkies

Agree about the ref......excellent.

More like a Rugby ref in terms of communication. Do all refs do this ? I can't hear on a Saturday but suspect not. Full marks to him.

Yep again, I did not know the lads in the absence of a sheet of A4 with their names on. I assume Appiah was number 10 ? Thought our keeper made a few good saves.

In fairness, I thought their keeper was a bit unlucky, but that's how it goes Brian ( or Bill )

Glad I went this afternoon. Will try & get to a few more PASE games next season if I can.

Cheers,

It was a very competitive match played in difficult blustery conditions and a downpour in extra time. Both teams contributed to a pacy game. Ebbsfleet had the better of the first half and went in 2 - 1 up. Decent first goal and a flukey second. Stevenage or Barnet (who was it ?) had the better of the second half and got the goal back and remained on top until the second period of extra time when we started taking the game to them a bit more and wrapped it up with a goal with about 7 mins to go.

No really standout performances, keeper made a few good saves but seemed to be at fault for their first and liked our number 5 although with a lack of height CB may not be his ideal position.

Second time I have seen them this season and should be well worth turning out for next Wednesday.

Was also nice to see BIG JOHN and STUBBSY there adding there support for the boys.Maybe because they came through the ranks also that they understand the benefit of support at that developing level. Good competitive game and character shone through for the PASE lads. Most of whome are first years and are great prospects for the future I am sure.
