Melvin who was well known for his time at many local clubs and recently vice chairman at Redbridge FC has sadly passed away today with his battle against cancer.

He will be greatly missed by the many that knew him and all his family.

The world should know what a brave man Mel really was; He carried his illness for a long time as he fought to beat it, and throughout that time he worked tirelesly to raise money for lacal cancer charities without dwelling on his own condition; Rest in peace Mel, you will be sadly missed.
