Congratulations to Canterbury City for winning the British Energy Kent County Div 2. A long way to go, but its good to see another old club making a return. Plus another local derby for the future!!!!!

Support would probably drop number 6 but my point is that i'd take that rather than sit back and watch KP c*ck things up even more. Contary to some people's belief's I believe Rowlett and co have the right idea. Its a shame the EGM may work against Rowletts favour. Anyway's how did and when did KP become the major share holder in the football club.

The old Canterbury City finished in the 1990s so with such a passage of time and no ground they had to start at the very bottom of the Kent County league. They have deservedly won promotion this year meaning that they can now achieve intermediate status. During this season they had two evenly matched games against Margate Reserves which is about their standard. I would add the following which may be of interest.

Sounds like Canterbury have the right idea. It gives food to thought that to raise cash for Margate FC why does the board not float additional shares that genuine supporters on the terraces can buy. This would certainly raise much needed cash to enable the new manager whoever he may be to have a budget that would allow us to be competitive giving us a chance of promotion back to the Conference.
