If someone had said to me a couple of seasons ago that we would be playing Wrexham in 2008, I would have been convinced that we would be a league team, proves the old theory, no club is to big to go down!

Though I would've said Oxford were bigger than Wrexham given they were playing Man Utd on an equal footing 20-odd years ago.

I realised earlier that Brian Little was manager of Villa when we played them in the cup. Look at how far we have come since then and how far down he has come!

Look at how quickly Gillingham are falling.

At this rate we won't even get the chance of a local derby, - they will be dropping to the conference (with their conference manager,conference players and despotic chairman) whilst we gain promotion!!

I do hope we get a crack at them in the cup or league in the next few years. Speaking to my friend , he is absolutley gutted at the Swindon result. He can accept relegation , but wanted it confirmed weeks ago.

 

Intrestingly , he is pro Scally. His argument being that if they all go anti scally , then he may get the hump and disappear along with th ground leaving them in a stickier situation then sticky the stick insect stuck on a sticky bun

The rumour I have heard from 2 different sources is that he is going to leave anyway - as he is fed up with all the sh*t and flack he is getting, whilst not getting credit for all the hard work and money (sic) that he had put into the club during his chairmanship.
