1,751 Votes, Not well publisised and only over a few days.

Which just shows how flawed the MYFC voting is, if Luke and Chukki got a number of votes. With all due respect, neither had seasons to shout about.
Just a little surprised NAde didn't make the shortlist.

MyFC voting was understandable given that for MyFC the season started in January.

Ebbsfleet voting a little harder to reconcile, nothing against Stacy he had a good season but Chris McPhee should have won it by a mile and how did Big John win young player of the season for one months performances when Michael Bostwick played well for the whole season?

no prob HG, heres the full list. I am sure some voted for the lesser known ones, because they could. Wisdom of the crowds ! :-) So long Wins, Slatter , Stubbs dont. Have fun.

That was one of last seasons fiascos. The Trust had been informed by a director that there would be a presentation evening and a date was earmarked and it would be held at Fleet Leisure. About 48 hours before the last home game of the seaon it was revealed that Fleet Leisure had already been hired out to someone else on the same date and could the Trust make their presentation at that game instead? The small fact that the Trophies had not been ordered as the presentation evening was to be later in May meant that it was impossible to do so. Charlie MacDonald finally received his award deep into the closed season!

No details of any presentation evening has been notified to the Fleet Trust this year. That is why arrangements were made to make the presentation after the match. A change of "ownership" has not in reality meant an improvement in organisation at the Club.

looks to be some very odd choices there. Not sure why anyone would have voted their PLAYER OF THE SEASON a Stubbs, Maskell,Slatts, Charlie H, Coleman, young Sam, Nade, Bull, McDonald or George, and am confused as to why Macca, Bossie, Jack, and Ricketts didn't get a a better vote.

I think this only goes to show the "wisdom of the crowd" only matters if the crowd see the games live!

As an aside, but dstill on topic, would the fiasco have happened if the old Board of Jason, Adrian et al still been in place? I suspect not.

Little things like this DO make a difference - whilst good things are happening on the field, it just appears that BK is having to do the lot when it comes to match day organisation.

Perhaps a match day director of operations, responsible for ALL events between a day or so before KO to an hour after would sort it out - from crowd logistics, presentations, half time entertainment, tannoy man, training and control of stwards rather than children wearing retro-reflective jackets with mininum amount of crowd control training and skills.

What WAS going on near the drum on Saturday?

It looked like over zealous stewarding, the eviction of three or 4 lads, who promply returned amid much cheering.

Can anyone enlighten me?

According to the list of club personnel in the match programme there is a "Matchday Secretary". His name is Derek Page. The areas you mention should (at least in part) probably be his territory, but I have to say I really have no idea what his title actually means. Do you remember the days of the late Maurice Norman who actually was designated Matchday Director and used to be seen working around the ground?

Can we have a vote as to what to moan about next please ?? That should get a record turnout at the polls !!

Players not on the park ? It was a game of two halves ! It's not over until the fat lady sings !! It's a marathon not a sprint Brian !

I hope everyone will be a bit more cheerful on 10 May ! If I am put next to some miserable old ****, he may get launched !!

Cheers all.
