great day at the bridge today to finish off the league fixtures in front of a good crowd of around 1400 on a glorious spring day...good natured lot from afcw and a pleasure to have them and a good turn out from our lot as well...even game with understandably a few missing from boths sides..urchins probably the stronger and better team on the day....but...jon main...what can you say...not a sniff all day...half a yard of space..a first time volley on the turn and 1-1 after dean greens effort earlier...

 

great day and excellent atmosphere 'tween the two sets of fans...

 

tuesday will be different of course and the wombles favourites to progress....but...never write of the pesky little skint urchins..

We have a very good chance, the pressure will all be on the wombles as they are favourite and at home, but that counts for nout when it comes to one off games.
