That nearly killed Fulham off, something Colin Page should be well aware of.

I DON'T want to go through the same situation again with Margate so the people involved should remember this is NOT their team and club but OURS.

Sort it out and sort it out fast or you will never be forgiven

Good post Frankie. But the problem is that ultimately the club is owned by the shareholders not the fans. So i really dont know what can be done to save a once great club.

There does not seem much that can be done they own the shares and they own the ground. I wish malcolm rowlett success but i think he may have just been used as a fron man these last few years and somebody has decided he is no longer of use to them.

These are the non-league clubs that lost their grounds because of the activities of property speculators. I can think of Romford, Brentwood(old), Guildford City, Waterlooville, Bedford(old), Wimbledon, Maidstone United (mark one) - and in North London we now have two teams with Enfield in their name. I'm sure there are others.

Keith Piper has gone on record (in a recent edition of the Gazette) saying that in his time the club wont reach Conference level. Presumably this is because he and Mr Lever has no intention of building a 6000 capacity stadium with 1000 seats.

It would be very interesting to see who the Fans of the club would vote for in this time of need . I have noticed though that there has been a change of heart to the way some fans feel about the club and how its being treated . Off the pitch problems will not help on the pitch problems so whoever is manager and whoever plays for us will suffer all the time this is going on , so the only way to move on is for the whole f..king club thats the board 1st starting at the begining , sort it out Now then tell the players you no the one`s that are surpossed to entertain us each week but can`t because you all can`t get it right Then please tell us the 3rd part of the club and probably the most important part as we are the bread & butter to alot of it and then maybe next season we can have something that looks like what we had in the past and we were proud of . Up the Gate.

the response in the paper from KP could be classed as misleading or incorrect. Exactly what the open letter was talking about

I find the whole situation very frustrating, and whilst KP is still there my sponsorship will go to other clubs.

Very true Chris, it will happen as 80% of the shares are owned by KP, GL etc.

We just have to wait to see what the outcome is, I truly hope they can work something out but have serious doubts.

The key to on field success is the manager.

The ideal would be a full time manager.

I wonder if MR Lever could be persuaded to assist in funding a full time manager- that would bring success and have a knock on effect on every other aspect of the clubs resurgance
