Just to inform everyone, that The Grayhound pub at wembley central has been allocated to cater for Ebbsfleet fans only.The pub is a 5 min walk from wembley central station and only a 10 min walk from the ground .The Landlord has just phoned my brother and passed the news on, it is situated at the ebbsfleet end of the ground and match day tickets upon entry will be requied.This is a good large pub with ample space in and outside with security on the day.

It's good that you've been able to do this as it'll make for an even better day out. Thankfully, with fans coming from different directions, the pubs should be pretty well segregated apart from the ones literally on the doorstep.

 

In our previous three visits, though I only made the two defeats (hoping for 3rd time lucky if I can find the cash), the fans mixed well enough even so. I had a great time with a pub chokka full of Bolton fans in '89 especially. We met in the Blackbird, on your side of the stadium, as it was the only pub I knew well - nice and roomy with seating outside too.

 

I was with about half a dozen or so mates who had travelled from the English north east with me and we had to wait to meet up with an old school chum of mine. He arrived later than expected and, by then, there must have been 2-300 Bolton fans in the pub. It didn't matter, though, as we all got on well and the Bolton fans wouldn't let us buy a pint and kept us all in beer for about three hours! Top blokes, eh?!

 

Not long now. Roll on the end of tomorrow so we know who we'll be playing in the play-offs. Hope we can keep Excretia for the final, if we get there. Destiny awaits...

its best to checkout if they will let ebbsfleet fans in the torch.you cant go into any pub at wembley on match day.each set of fans normally have certain pubs they can use around the stadium.

Really don't want to be a killjoy, but I've looked up the Greyhound on the web & not found a single positive comment & several very negative ones - mostly about sloppy service/treatment of customers. Are people still meeting up at Baker Street or have we relinquished The Globe to Torquay?
