The finals are this sunday mate....League Cup Sections D, C, B and A

My team with pals are playing at 10.15 k/o v Trinty III. Should have a Strong side out featuring JJ, Nicky Keys, Scotty Keys, Ryan Page and Dave Birnie.

at 10.45 k/o is section A featuring Wheatleys v Brush...Im bored of this showpiece one as I won it the past two years with Rayleigh Town ha ha! This match sees Ross Webster, Chris Wilson, Andrew Lilleker and Chris Baker for Wheatleys and George and Jamie Cheesewright and Neil Richmond for Brush.

Bowers are to be congratulated on there whole hearted commitment, they can hold their heads high and have made a massive contribution to ensuring that this seasons title will go right to the wire. Paul Dennis was truly magnificent. Be interesting to see how the remaining results this week pan out leading up to Saturday; There are no easy games in this league

Dennis had a blinder, just wasn't going to let side score

I think that was the most one-sided game which I have ever lost. But credit to Bowers, they battled hard, ran down the clock (why..!?!?) and the keeper pulled off 5 or 6 saves which were worthy of a much higher standard. The ball just wouldnt go in.

Just gotta hope whatever magic spell they cast to keep the ball out of their goal lasts for the Enfield game on Weds too!

Speedie:- i think Mr Dennis may have used up all his saves and a little bit of luck last night.

How about the one that hit the post and run across the line!!!

Come on Bowers !!!! (cant believe i just said that!lol)

Speedie i think if you were out there now you would not score a goal!!

I fear the same. I cant see Bowers riding their luck that much again to be honest, I think Enfield will sweep them aside. But, it aint over til its over.

Last night was so painful I have to laugh. We must have had 10 clear cut chances (and thats not an exageration). I was gutted that none really fell to me... i think my first proper shot was on about 85mins!! But your right, we could have played all day and night and it would have stayed 1-0.!

PS i bet 2wks ago you wouldnt have believed it would be in your hands to win it with only 5days left of the season! I would wish you good luck, but until we are mathematically out of it, I cant as we have got to play you!
