with neasden probably gone and Merrow resigning, that leaves 18 clubs next season.

 

Any going into the surrey elite?

 

Any clubs coming in?

 

is there a minimum number of clubs needed to make a division viable?

Tongham into Elite League.

 

Westfield or Hartley Wintney up.

 

Bisley + Englefield Green rovers want to come across but I understand the Hellenic have blocked that. there is 1 club from the SIL that want to come in. No idea from the SE Combination or Middlesex League.

Horsley are going into the new Surrey Elite League, they did enquire to the CCL but did not apply.

18 teams just isn't good enough really. Should be 20 and 20

 

Have to say it's a real shame that hardly anyone goes up, Hanworth Villa and Staines Lammas would give most of the Prem sides a run for their money - look how well Horley have done again as well (although I hear there is a few quid down there this season).

 

Also heard that Farnborough NE might switch from Wessex - any truth in this?

Could the leagues be brought to 20/20 by relegating the bottom two teams?

Hi HH, it could happen if forced by the FA to do it but I believe the league is against reducing no's in the premier division to 20 teams

The SIL team was Horsley and Teffs has put that to bed. There are a number of issues surronding the 6th Step 4 league which I believe will mean no team will be relegated. Therefore no team will be relegated from the Premier and just the 1 will come up from Div 1. Also I did hear a rumour that the Reading/Badshot Lea swap is not looking as certain as before.

I say promote 2 !!!! but I know it won't happen.

 

Was you taking into account that Dorking might not be around (hopefully they will) but perhaps playing elsewhere (div 1 standard ground?).

 

Another one I forgot about was RPV and problems with a lease or has that been sorted?
