Just a wild stab in the dark, but I would imagine it is because calling it an ESL select XI suggests it is a bona fide Essex Senior League representative side, selected by Essex Senior League officials, which it clearly isn't!!

I know it's a bit late to comment on this thread ( I've been out of the loop for the last few days ) but I support any movement or action that snubs afch in anyway or form owing to the fact that they are run by a bunch of horrendous Kents!! Rob I applaud you on your stance
