I've contacted the server host. The main hard disk drive has failed, meaning everything on the server is lost. Attempts are being made at the server farm to recover data from the hard drive, but there is no guarantee anything will be recoverable. As I no longer run the site, I don't keep any backups. The last backup is from October 22nd 2007 as far as I'm aware, unless Ian.D created new backups when he took over.

End of season draw it is, my hopes lie with that. If not then it's time to get my wallet out.

Surely you and whoever else is in contention for 1st place could email Ian your predictions instead? If any of you remember how many points you were both on. Just an idea, seems a shame to scrap it when it was so close and there are only 2 more games left!

If the site is unrecoverable, then to say I'm p!ssed off is an understatement. It seems pretty amateurish if their wasn't a regular back-up made. I didn't know about the season ticket for the winner, but since I lay in 3rd, and I've been scoring well lately, it would of been a bonus.

Not sure exactly what my score was, prior to last Saturdays game I was about 9 points off of the lead.

I can restore email accounts from these details as long as you supplied a valid alternate email address. However all inbox, sent mail and contact list information will be blank. Seems a shame as it has been very close for a long time. Don't see any way around it unless the file can be restored. It probably was going to be between me and Kev but I think a couple of others could have caught us with some of perfect predictions. I'm happy to accept whatever is decided.
