KEITH PIPER TO GO?

Dont think it would be that easy (despite the motives of the council leader) due to the covenant on the land use and also the owner of the house opposite who would like the whole ground pulled down to give him a more rural outlook from his windows.

Any major changes and he would be up in arms

I think we should build a huge wooden hoarding the full width of the club house and turnstiles area high enough to stop any footballs going out into the road, and get Andy to make and display an extremely large advertisement for something likely pillowtalk on it. Give him something to really p1ss him off. devil

What I can't quite get my head around is how someone can be declared bankrupt and can still be a director, drive a big flash car with personalised number plate, carry on the exec. lifestyle etc. whilst most of us work our [****!!****] off honestly all our lives and still don't get there. Perhaps we should all lead this sort of lifestyle, run up masses of debts, declare ourselves bankrupt and then just keep the procedes. Seems to work for some doesn't it?

Could you expand on that comment please Mike for those that are unaware of this (myself included). What was said then?

It was connected to the recent debate re: language. Had no problem with gathering us all for a meeting etc, but I felt that, perhaps due to the age of most of us, his tone was largely condescending and his explanation of the policy regarding swearing was ridiculous. I hate to say it, but it really did make me wonder whether there is any point going again.
