What is the record attendance for an ESL league game? I've a feeling it was back in the 90's.

 

Enfield Town had an attendance of over 500,but i doubt that would have created a record.

Billericay had a few over a thousand back in the 70s.. Gherkins v Romford had over 700 the other year

If i remember well we had a player sent off and played last half an hour with 10.They called us resilient Bowers....and someone felt over in the warm-up much to the enjoyment of his players

I think the Romford-Hullbridge game saw the biggest 'prematch' Romford have had this season, with about 90-100 there for that - I remember as I dropped the portable goals on myself 3 times, much to Lightweight's amusment (thanks for the help mate!).

 

I'm still completely sure every club in this league could easily get 100 per week with a few initiatives each. NL has a bit of unwanted stigma about it at the moment, but that seems to be moving away now. Massive time to be an ambitious and forward thinking non league club.

739 to be precise scoup and that was the biggest esl crowd since 74 according to RE...hx romford at level 3 would easily get 3k...
