Oh god! He was a bit of a legend at Man City.

Apparently he was diagnosed with chest cancer after scoring the winning goal for his Norwegian club Lillestrom last week.

 

He is still very much alive and a spokesman for the club said that it was a sick joke being played on Uwe's family that started through internet reports.
