HOME form blows away.................

Town's HOME form has blown away the season with just 6 wins and 6 drawn games, which means we have lost 9 matches at Brimo.

So from the 63 points available we have won just 24 and lost 39.

On the goals front it is not any better with just 20 goals scored in 21 home games.

 

Over the seasons since our formation the Home form has never been that good - certainly Brimo is not a "fortress".

Perhaps Jim C can give us a run down, but this must be one of the worst !

 

Away from home ( with 1 game to go ) Town are a "different team" collecting 12 away wins and 3 draws ( 39 points )and only 5 defeats. Scoring 40 goals and letting in 34.

 

If only our Home form matched the Away form - we would be going to Canvey on 78 points and in the play-offs.

Oh well, that is all if's and but's.

 

However, there must be some reason for the poor Home form.

Is it the Management and the formation we play ?

Is it the Players attitude ?

Is it the pitch ? ( same for both teams of course and 15 teams found it okay )

Is the the Supporters and the pressure they place on the team ?

 

If you know the answer - send it to the Committee before they make the next move regarding a new Manager or Player signings !!

 

Needless to say - this will also generate some idiots to repond on here, so ...............
