Reading Town Magna Cartered

Reading Town were thrashed 4-1 by the egg men at Runnymede Stadium today. Egham Town were doing well and had a few shots on goal what were testing the Reading Town goalkeeper. Reading did have a few shots but couldn't find the back of the net. Egham then took advantage of Reading Town's missed chances and scored to make it 1-0 to the hosts. Reading Tow had some great chances to score but the 2 headers went wide of the goal to keep the score at 1-0. Reading Town then found the back of the net with a well placed shot by Ray Spence right into the top left corner.

 

Second Half: Egham scored early on to make it 2-1 to the host. From then on in Egham were dominating the play and had plenty of shots on target but couldn't find the back of the net. Egham Town then slotted it past the keeper to make it 3-1. Reading Town had two decent opportunities to score but both hit the side netting and Egham Town made them pay when they scored. In the last 10 minutes an Egham player was sent off for a second book able offence and then almost straight after Ray Spence saw red and a massive brawl followed soon after. Ray did not leave the pitch straight away but finally did and was welcomed back to the changing rooms with a ring of boo
