Well done Beesy. Without fail there is something decent to read in every programme. The content is consistently better than our local league and Premiership clubs too. A thoroughly deserved award. It could also mean that Basildon end the season winning more than Enfield. Wouldn't that be a pity .....

Probably about the only good thing to come out of Basildon FC. I mean, your stadium looks like the bomb squad has had a go at it and thought better of it, your pitch respresents something you'd find in the new forest and i've seen more supporters at an under 11 game. Apart from that, well done.

I believe that's what they call in the trade either a bite of a chomp. Only a tiddler mind.

I'm sure Beesy will appreciate you thoroughly kind words and we thank you from the heart.

yes its far and away the best programme in the ESL but why oh why has beeswax taken none of my suggestions on board??

how about a feature called 'on this day in history' for the hullbridge programme we could publish '24 april-1951 the yorkshire ripper is born in wakefield,yorkshire,1934 homosexuality is banned in Belgium, 1983 nik kershaw releases his debut LP'.

how about horoscopes? heres a reading for aries this week 'a mixed week as you win

I've been doing this for ages and if I'd found those facts in my research, I'd have used them. As it is I've gone with other events such as -

terry i'm sure you will get a mention in saturdays centre spot. talking about the yorkshire ripper, in my spare time i correspond with prisoners, im penpals with rosemary west, dennis nielsen and actually got a christmas card from the late harold shipman, anyway 'the ripper' is a keen non league follower although the authorities are reluctant to let him attend any matches in person.if any clubs interested i could probably get him to write an article for their programme.

why oh why is the ripper still not released?? i guess because hes different and society never forgives anyone who deviates from the norm.ive received some delightful letters from the ripper, yes he had a tendancy to smash prositutes heads in with a hammer but he was hearing voices from god.strange that this gentle, erudite individual loses his freedom but god gets off scot free.thats British justice!!
