Unfortunately for us Bridgewater got an excellent draw away to Didcot so they will be scrapping for their lives against us to still have a chance of securing a place in the play offs.

Looking on the negative side (because of our record of away performances in midweek), if we lose to Bridgewater we are going to have to beat Fleet and hope Bracknell lose.

I don't think Fleet will field a weekened side because they will want to secure a home draw in the play-offs.

I just hope everyones available for Tuesday including Steve Daly because it's another must win game.

of course we would love to win tuesday but its most important we dont lose. saying that should we it dont change too much we would still have to beat fleet and hope bracknell dont win

either way bracknell just cant win next week. if they dont there is a decent chance we will stay up. again though its not unrealistic to say we could lose both our last games

bridgewater can only make the playoffs if they win both of their last games and Uxbridge lose next week in last game

Another solid team performance to get a vital result.

Pritchard is realy starting to show his quality, altough he did run out of puff near the end, John Gray riped there defender to pieces, DJ was strong in the back, and there was no weak links in the team.

All goals were well taken and there was posibilities of quiet a few more.

You could see the frustration of the Newport players knowing that their season was well and truly over with some of the outbursts seen, and the silly sending off of 11 for words after his booking for a dive earlier.

Excelent turnout of Slough fans in very good numbers (only just behind Farnboroughs 241 at Newport) and hope we can have near that number on Tuesday as it will be needed.

Well done to all involved in this vital 3 points.

A good performance, but very nervewracking after Newport's early goal, probably their only real attack of the match. We pretty much dominated the whole match, the only problem was the crossing, sometimes it was really bad, especially considering the number of times we got round the back, especially through John Gray (who had an excellent game, probably MOM).

Also thought that Pritchard had another really great game, and Meddie was good at the back.

Hopefully we can carry this into Tuesday, a win and we will only have to match Bracknell next Saturday, a draw or defeat would mean having to better Bracknell.

Well done boys, a good game today!

The key thing about yesterday was perseverance. I always felt we were good for a victory, even when 1-0 down, but was hoping we wouldn't leave it until the 80th minute to get ahead!

Newport scored with their only attack (think it might have been their only effort on target) and from then on I couldn't see them threatening as we dominated the game. We were getting far too much space down the flanks and in the middle for us not to win, but it was a concern that so many chances to cross/shoot were wasted.

The place went mad when Gray scored - great moment. Let's hope there's a few more to come on Tuesday and next Saturday.

Thoroughly enjoyable weekend helped by some excellent results. Whilst we dominated the game and always looked good for the win it was becoming increasingly frustrating and nerve wracking as we looked for that winning goal. Gray and Pritchard stood out as the best players on the Park. Really looking forward to Tuesday now. Come on Rebels.

Yep thoroughly enjoyed yesterday. It was like the old times in away games. Covers both ends, decent numbers travelling and a win and celebrations at the end. Looking forward to seeing Horsham Rebels photos.

I was not so confident of a win, especially when we went behind, but nobody could have said that we did not deserve it.

Now we've got what was asked for, it's back in our hands although we still have two very difficult games but the side is much better organised and more threatening than it has been in a couple of seasons and we have a chance.

Very enjoyable, two good results (ours and Bracknell's) and a couple of days off of the mainland.

Well done to all the players. We now need to keep the momentum going for Tuesday and Saturday. If we win both, it doesn't matter what Bracknell do.

John Gray was MOM for me. It was great to see Terry get a goal again after his long drought, and Pritchard was bossing midfield again.

Yeah, John Gray easily MOM, although just before he scored I think he was going to be replaced by Tom Attrell!

The arrival of Pritchard, Roy G and John Gray (playing him in his normal position, not where we wasted him for 10 games at left back) have been great for the side. Lets just hope it's not too late!

I think Roy is the type of player we have been missing for most of the season. A tall centre forward that can hold up the ball for JG and TD to play off of, or to head in their crosses.

We've definately looked better up front since he came.
