BWG was there in his tracksuit but not named to play. No sub keeper either. A fairly safe win today I thought. We never looked in that much danger of losing although they hit the post (or was it side-netting?) and Ronnie tipped over a good free kick.

FWIW, it's now mathematically impossible for us to make the play-offs.

I thought, for an end of season game, it was quite lively (we even had a period of "hand bags at dawn"). We certainly put ourselves about a bit and apart for the last couple of minutes were in control of the game. Horsham certainly didn't really dominate but gave Ronnie a couple of moments to pull off some stunning saves.

I thought the team was quite balanced with Marron on the right and altho he isn't a Bradley - Woods, he certainly did his job well.

Well done to the lads for a deserved win and an entertaining afternoon's football...shame so many chose to miss the game frown

I thought it was reasonably comfortable as 1-0s go. Other than a couple of free kicks and the run of corners at the end the defence looked solid. Billy looked lively up front and overall we looked more likely to add a second than they did to equalise.

Well done Blue Fan. It looked a riot. Amazing how larger than life that guy dressed up as the messiah looked. You can understand how people could be convinced he wasn't just a "very naughty boy".

Strange "end of term" atmosphere for most of the game. The brawl livened things up a bit but Horsham just didn't seem that interested. A pretty convincing win, despite only the one goal.

Worrying to see Kerrers & Darren both go off injured; but good to see Wayne back.

Great result for Harlow today. At least we'll have them and Swifts as Essex derbies next year, and maybe Hx.

I must admit I was expecting a bit of a pre-season feel about this game, what with it being their last game at that ground and both sides having nothing to play for, but it turned out to be quite a feisty encounter and an enjoyable game to watch.

Bar the last 10 minutes or so when they forced a sequence of corners after our umpteenth defensive re-organisation I thought we were well in control of the game and really should have been out of sight long before their spell of pressure. It seems rather ironic that we keep our first clean sheet in 8 league games when we've been forced into all these changes. I hope we can get eleven on the pitch next week!!

MoTM for me was between Hodges and Bricknell. Hodgie gave their defence a torrid time today and showed the form that in my view we haven't seen nearly enough of this season and Billy again worked ever so hard and his goal was just reward for that work-rate.

I'm pleased Marron got a run-out and I also thought he did quite well. Got the ball into the box on numerous occasions although maybe he could have released the ball a bit quicker once or twice.

I enjoyed the game and hope we can sign off with a win next week.

Come on you blues!!

Good to see we're finishing the season with a little bit of a flourish, and good to keep a clean sheet which is something we've not done enough of this season. Billy definitely seems to be playing well at the mo, and I look forward to see him and Flackie together next season.

What were the substitutions please?

It was a an enjoyable game, good entertainment, and a sterling effort by our boys.

I was disappointed by our lack of support though, many of those who are quick to criticise the team when things are not going well were conspicuous by their absence.

If we are to compete next season, then we need to stand united.

My support is for Billericay Town Football 'Club'

I'll not to do it alone...
