Hopes for the weekend

Right then, looking at the fixtures for Saturday the following would be helpful.

 

We beat Newport (keep our hopes of staying up alive)

Gosport beat Bracknell (keep our hopes of staying up alive)

Uxbridge beat Andover (means that if we beat Newport we can still catch Andover)

Didcot beat Bridgwater - which with an Uxbridge win means Bridgwater are out of the play off chase and have nothing to play for on Tuesday night.

 

Fleet's result is somewhat academic. Unless they win and Oxford lose, they will need something from the last game of the season to secure a home play off game, so they will have something to play for, whether that be 2nd or 3rd

 

Most importantly though, get a win at Newport. Everything else is secondary

most of all us winning and bracknell losing has to happen. what a scenario that would be to be just 2 points behind with a game in hand although of course points on the board are better than possible points you could pick up

Just to let you know it is a bit wet and windy down here so come prepared. You will be visiting one of the better grounds in the league so there is plenty of room for you in the clubhouse and we have enough cover for all of you on all four sides.

Sadly not a Didcot win to round it off.

 

A great result today though on Wight. Now for a midweek trip to Somerset. Both teams need three points for very different reasons so it should be a gripping match
