Taken from MYFC

Have to say I am not happy with the idea of people's usernames on the jerseys. Equally there are problems with using ebay for the auction (given the possibility of fans of other clubs placing silly bids for a laugh). I like the gesture - not too sure about the application.

I believe it was their kit for all of last season, not just the final.

I think it was a Eurostar initiative, probably following on from their recent launch/takeover (MyFC) add. They would be giving up part of their space on the shirt I presume.

The usernames we need to register, just so we could keep, some at least, our dignity.

Batt Cables.

Sprint.

Gravesend Reporter.

Gladwish Landsales.

GLS.com.

Austrian Airlines.

Jimmy Logie.

Sam Chambers.

Brian Wolfe.

G&NFC Always for me. (Already done so we just need to make sure he wins the auction!!!!)

Jimmy Jackson.

Justin Skinner.

No 2 PTT

Let Liam Pick the team.

Trueman Beers.

York Fox, your idea to have the names of past players is a genius idea and could just go some way into turning this from a terrible idea into a excellent one. Which other club has managed to pay respect to it's history and past greats in a one off showcase final and our greatest stand alone game. This idea would show that we have not completely lost a grip with our history.

With no disrespect to former players, why not just wear the shirts and if you want to honour/respect/remember past greats, come up with another way of doing so ?

It may not be practical to do so now, bearing in mind new ground, but when new ground is planned etc.....why not have a Wall of Fame, where such stalwarts can be remembered for a lot longer than one game ? A lot of other clubs do it.

Just a thought....

The sponsor a brick idea is for the future Hirsty. I would liek to see a wall of fame. With a large bricks detailing great players , their career highlights and maybe 20 or so bricks of our greatest games.

Be great to have a brick with an FA Trophy Winners on it.

But at the moment , Yorkfox`s idea is the only real way to thank Eurostar for their offer and show respect of out history.

Maybe the captains shirt rather then be auctioned or whatever can be framed and start a collection of memorabillia in the bar.

sensible and pragmatic as always Hirsty old boy and harrys ideas are more akin to clowntowns...difference being that harry means it and clowntown plays it...

names on shirts new old or legendary in your first wembley final is ridiculous and a tacky idea in any form...fck it off ebbs and get real and remember that you are a NL football club and not a fckn circus...

hello harry had a few drinks have we.... drinkies

I would hardly call my relatiionship with Hx a failure... 22 trophies in 6 years and 6 promtions and today a play off place... with a new stadium in planning...yes we had a little hiccup but I stayed and sorted it all out..these things happen..one must stay strong and deal with them...

now in case you hadn't noticed I was passing a comment as a member of MyFc on the clubs forum...the same as many others including yourself have done so why do my comments (comensurate with many others) indicate my wish for the club to fail?....grow up harry and get over yourself...(or caskeys goal) grin

abuse is the last refuge of the illiterate..

I saw a picture of the proposed Eurostar 11names shirts on the other website. I assumed it would be 1 name per shirt, but it is all 11 names on small area near the logo. The total area used is no bigger than it would have been using just Eurostar.
