As i have said elsewhere, nobody moans though if you keep winning during a fixture pile up. Back in 96-7, by Feb 1 we still had 34 games to play, more than a season's worth in the ESL.

A mere bagatelle compared to the monsoon season of 2000-1n when we played 17 in a month at the tail end.. five in 10, pah wimps...

I seem to remeber our friends from Hx having to play twice on the same day. I cannot understand why you chose to join this league if you are so unhappy with the officials, and the format. If you win promotion sharing won't be any easier as there will be more fixtures.

 

As for the photo, Gavin is a professional freelance photographer, you can't blame him for taking the photo and then selling it, that's his job ! If you think it's unjust don't buy our local paper, as that's the picture they have used.

we did and still the only club to have played two league games on the same day with the same time kick off. I have the BBC video of it at home....lost one drew one...

 

of course we don't have fixture pile up problems these days as we've usually won everything by march... devil

 

just seen that foto and thats a red card IMO....

Unc one was aginst Clapton wasn't it? I'm sure I played in that game.
