Does anybody know what match this was?

Google maps have a new satellite photo of Thanet, which seems to have been taken shortly before a Margate home match.

 

Can anybody fathom out what game it was?

 

You can also have fun looking at your own house and so on. Apologies if anyone has mentioned this before.

No sign of 5-a-sides so not recent. Also quite a few cars around despite it being clear by the training facilities on the pitch that the game had not started.

Also, there is a car where the video tower now is. Radio Kent?

I'd go for Ashford Town Middlesex at home last April. Pitch looks to have dried out, but bears the scars of the winter when certain areas needed to be heavily sanded.

in the park next to your ground i was contracted to rake some bark on the ground as new trees were planted there( shows up as sandy colour) we did this dec/jan last year, as its been done your looking at about february time, so porka you about right

type MARGATE FC into google maps and it focuses on Herne Bay Football Club, which is strange

 

If you find hartsdown road, margate, then move right to the Ramsgate Road, you will see a Gregg's bakers van travelling North...this is Barry Boxall's van, who only started with gregg's last September..so I believe this is a clue

Well it looks extremely dried up and during most of the winter months last season our pitch was soaking and we didn't really have a home game during the winter last season.
