Rebels now down to play in midlands next season ?

I will be happy if we stay up!! TK is assuming that all 21st teams will get a reprieve, and that 4/5 midland division teams will be moved to the Northern Premier Dv 1 South, to sort out the massive balls up that is re-organisation up there. Comes to something when we "may/will" have to rely on polictics to keep us up. If TK correct on this draft, 5 grounds within 45 minutes, and one 1 1/2 miles away suits me fine, but think I would prob be only happy one on here!!!

Long trips? S&W may well have Truro! If, and it's a big of, TK's site is right would have Aylesury, Chesham, Abingdon, Beaconsfield, Berko - all of which are local derbies. No trips to Somerset or Cornwall. I reckon all could be done in 1 1/2 hours.

To be fair looking again at his maps, prob not that much in it for long trips. Truro, Taunton, Paulton and Bridgwater, or Malvern, Stourport, Stourbridge, Rothwell, and Cinderford. All rest in both are reasonable in terms of distance or closeness to motorways.

i dont get to many away games as it is so to have less local teams reduces that further although saying that the further games therefore wont affect me. i would just be glad to be in this level still and if we do finish 2nd bottom and survive due to the reshuffle do we really have the right to influence what league we stay in?? i guess we do but we will have less say than teams the were safe months ago

this the latest that i heard,

lots of rumours flying about at the moment re Midlands teams. So far the ones I have heard are Barton, Willenhall and Leighton Town have all failed ground grading, and also Willenhall will be offering their resignation to the BGB and applying to go into the Unibond.

Also Allegedly Evesham have lost the place where they were going to build a new stadium as it has been sold to Tesco!

plenty to get annoyed about there eh BS

Don't get me wrong i'm all for discussion and debate, but we REALLY do need to concentrate on the job in hand. As we were told at the start of the season there were two teams going down, and that is still the case.

There were all kinds of rumours last year about teams pulling of this leagye apparently out and nobody did. They are just that at this stage, rumours

Let not take our eyes off the ball, and lets concentrate on making sure we don't finish in the bottom two. We don't want to hope for 'What if' scenarios. As it stands now we are relegated if we don't win our three massive remaining fixtures.

Ok then...what do we need to do in the way of concentrating on the job in hand? Lend a hand in coaching? Management? Turn up for training?

Does it bother you that much to see people discussing different things? Instead you weigh in with your self-righteous condescending tone.

Some of you need to grow up. Stop being so picky and allow others freedom of discussion.

Anon's deserve to be upset!

Agree with Chris that if we not in the bottom 2 there is far less chance of going down (I say less chance as there are always off the field political issues with our type of football!)

I would expect a decision some time in July as to where we end up no matter what position we end up in, as there is always "adjustments" made due to appeals and other issues and trying to balance the numbers in each area.

We could end up in one of a handful of leauges and very little of it will be influanced by us.

I personally hope we get put into the Blue Square Conference where we deserver to be!!!! wink
