I think he is in zimbabwe taking election rigging tips from mr mugabwe...

apparently you have to have more overseas representation even tho' you didn't vote for them.... shocked

red neck..I am most offended that you are suggesting that I spout drivel as I take these forums most seriously... grin

I very much respect your light hearted and loyal support of your club H but don't ignore the obvious warning signs developing here....the bottom line is that moonie HQ want out of PTT as they know it will not work but fear the legal and financial repurcussions....there are 20,000 nerds out there well pi55ed off already with the non performance of the promised land....

own the club...pick the team

Fair comment UU......however, Clowntown has posted on here many times just to take the piss or wind us up and, IMHO, the only good thing about him is that he has agreed to be urinated upon !!

As for MyFC, only time will tell if it is successful or not.
However, IF they do decide to change the rules via the democratic process, with all members entitled to vote ( whether or not they decide to do so )on the subject, surely they can ?

I see from the front page of the MyFC site ( the only one I can read as a non member !) that people are still joining though....

Cheers,

As I said, Dave, I do not fall into either category.

I met a chap from the States on Saturday morning in the town centre and when I told him my MyFC monicker, he was in awe and said he was in the presence of a legend!

I thought it was a bit OTT myself but this is what we are dealing with.

That forum is comedy genius at times.

I do have a life outside this forum and the other one GP.

As for your ill-informed comment - Picking the team will be implemented by the begining of next season at the latest. Liam Daish is on board with this and MyFC are working towards this end. A few diehards on here who are gloating about their interpretation of the result are as mis-representative as the few die-hards on the other side on the MyFC forum who are also intent on mis-representing the poll to bolster their own position. Neither do a service to the club.

Picking the team will operate on the basis of the membership picking the team using, among other things, information and reports from the coaching staff. It will be a system that the coaching staff will be able and willing to work with and it will be a system that the vast majority of the memberhsip will be happy to participate in.

Anyone on here who believes that scrapping PTT at this point in time is in the best interests of the club is either very foolish, extremely naive, or intent on sticking their head in the sand. If you are really interested in building/developing/progressing the club then the MyFC project has to work.

Not strictly true is it ?
If it fails it just reverts back to how it was, except the club is richer, thanks to MYFC, so yes it has to work for MYFC or they have nothing, that the real truth. you will argue but you know really that's the facts.
You are now more far more dependent on Ebbsfleet than Ebbsfleet are of you. As i said if it fails you lose everything. I am sure Ebbsfleet will find another sponsor and plod along. At the end of the day MYFC are just sponsors.
