Clearly the majority of those who bothered to vote want some sort of PTT, but the turnout is again quite frankly pathetic.

 

Only about a third of MyFc members could be bothered to vote on what is supposed to be the cornerstone of the concept.

Whatever your view of the vote it does say that only a minority want to have exclusive rights to pick the side, with most wanting the coach to have the final input, along with a significant minority not bothered about picking the team at all.

So after weeks/months of rubbish being spouted , we now have a scenario , where we pick 11 from 16 of those who are fit and then Liam changes what he wants. he then has to spend valuable time justifying his changes.

 

We have gone from Liam picking the team to Liam picking the team and justifying it.

 

Nothing like piling pressure on the the manager. Liam has got us to Wembley and has a good squad of players. Whay should we over rule him or expect him to become accountable.

 

I am not going to Halifax tonight but would like to see Portway start:-)

...never mind those youngsters it's about time Brian Woolfe got another chance. Halifax wouldn't like him running at them especially with Steve Brown on the other wing.

I just told you the evidence I have. I've spoken to professional pollsters who agree that the question is deliberately phrased negatively to detere people voting for it. I suspect the results would have been very different had their been a linguistic neutrality to the options (but we'll never know).

On a sepaarte note, good to see other posters seem to be finally accepting what I have been saying for months now - MyFC will only last for one year asless than 10,000 will renew which will make it financially unfeasible to continue. On the bright side for EUFC, you'll have had some (maybe a quarter) of your cumulative debt paid off. On the negative side, you may be saddled with some players on longer contracts than would be financially prescient pre- and post-MyFC. *swings and roundabouts*

nor would MyFcL if any one member sued them for misrepresentation hirsty...and that is their biggest fear....clowntown has his wicked ways but if you read his posts carefully instead of being subjective about him they do make much sense and always have...

I very much respect your light hearted and loyal support of your club H but don't ignore the obvious warning signs developing here....the bottom line is that moonie HQ want out of PTT as they know it will not work but fear the legal and financial repurcussions....there are 20,000 nerds out there well pi55ed off already with the non performance of the promised land....

Don't always agree with the drivel you spout UU, but I do on this.

I've been a 'Fleet' fan for a few years and I joined MYFC after the choice had been made, to benefit my club. Like a lot of people I never thought the PTT would work, but I advocated using it just to prove a point. Come match day the Manager/Coach will always have the final say on who plays and who doesn't.

Looking at the amount of people that actually bothered to vote, compared to overall membership, the novelty has swiftly worn off, people just can't be arsed. Unless there's a vote I rarely go on the MYFC site, any new info I get from this site. Their message board is peopled by idealistic thugs or ill informed half wits. While MYFC lasts I'll continue to subscribe my
